To remove a joint owner from an account both parties would need to be present to sign a joint owner removal form in a branch. When it is not an option for both parties to be present the forms would need to be notarized. If the joint party is not able to sign, the primary member would need to close the account and open a new account. To remove a beneficiary from an account please visit one of our branches to complete our Account Maintenance request form. When it is not an option to visit a branch, we require forms to be notarized.
